While traveling to Farmington for the 4th Barry made an interesting statement, it's one that I find myself agreeing with. Avatar: The last airbender is good, really good. He challenged me to find anything that is better, and I can say that I'm stumped. I can find things that beat in superficial ways, or in very narrow criteria. But overall as a whole I can not think of anything that comes close to it.
You mean like the best Anime or cartoon or like the best thing since sliced milk?

ReplyDeleteAs a whole the series is just incredible well done, It's thoughtful but not deep. Funny but not goofy. Detailed yet simplistic. Clean but not manufactured. Bold but not overbearing. Fresh but easily falling into classic archetypes.
Like I said certain things may beat in in certain areas but over all it is probably the best series I have ever seen.
I really like this series as well. Lots of this that draw me and make me like it. I really like the struggle of main characters and the things we learn from them. Without it, its just a good show. All the elements are there.
ReplyDeletewow, I never thought you.. I mean wow. This is a special day brothers. Um, I agree, also it is contained for the most part, in 3 perfect seasons, not drug on too long. It is the best show on TV ever. The entire family can watch it, there are lessons, Ihro and Zucco are just as interesting as Aang and Katara, in fact Ihro is pretty close to my favorite. It is very unfortunate what happened to the movie, but maybe it was never meant to be.
ReplyDeletewould have to agree, This series was a masterpiece by mistake, i will have to say that uncle ihro is my favorite character next to sakka hahaha there is an episode in season two that has small stories of all the characters and Irhos by far has the most meaning and is the most emotional,and thats the reason i enjoy the series so much because of the emotion that is drawn out by individual characters, which were all very well developed. sure some characters have more screen time but each individual story is interesting in its own right. i give Avatar The Last Airbender a 10/10
